Bill Moyers with Victor Gold and the religo-con theft of the GOP

Gold calls them theo-cons, I call them religo-cons, but it's all the same thing. Religous conservatives invading and taking over the Republican party in the US (and most recently the Conservative party in Canada) pushing Goldwater Conservatives aside.

Enjoy a rich interview with Victor Gold by Bill Moyers in this full lengh episode of "Bill Moyers Journal" below as well as another MP3 file by Gold from when he was at the CATO Institute.

Canadians may also want to check out The Walrus article "Stephen Harper and the theo-cons" on how Canada's new Prime Minister has suceeded in turning Canada's former "Progressive Conservative" party into an extremist conservative party controlled by religious zelots and neo-cons by clicking right here.

Politics aside that's one damn catchy title. If Gold hadn't gone into politics he would have made a good humourist.
