What many call the inspiration for Larry Sanders: Fernwood 2Night: Watch Online (features Tom Waits)

We've got two episodes (complete with classic 70s commercials) of Fernwood 2Night (also referred to as Fernwood Tonight and also called America 2 night when the show went national in it's second season) that's hosted by Barth Gimble (Martin Mull) and sidekick/announcer Jerry Hubbard (Fred Willard).

It's a parody of low budget local talk shows that ran from July 1977 to July 1978 and was created by Norman Lear for first run syndication. In the second season it was referenced that the show was carried on the UBS network (likely a reference to the movie Network which featured the same fictional network).

Many stars appeared on the series through it's run either incognito for the local version or playing themselves for the nation reincarnation. Below are two full episodes from the classic series (each run approx 30 minutes) and the third video is an excerpt for when Tom Waits appeared on the broadcast.
