According to the NY Post Leno could be making the jump to Fox in 2009 when his contract expires and Conan O'Brien is scheduled to take over. When NBC first promised "The Tonight Show" to O'Brien it was actually to keep him from signing a deal with...you guessed it - Fox.
Looks like Rupert Murdoch's playing NBC like Jack Benny's fiddle.
