So this show, Dusty's Trail, was one of many (and the only one that wasn't animated, sequels to the classic Gilligan's Island franchise. It was created by Gilligan's Island creator Sherwood Schwartz as the specific request of Gilligan himself Bob Denver (guess he was running short on weed money).
Denver is the only casat member from the first series however all else is the same only in a different setting. Denver's character get a group of pioneers lost and they have to try to find a way to escape the wilderness to their end route of California. Even the secondary characters appear to be a carbon clone of the Gilligan's Island series.
It ran for one season in syndication and we've got one ep here below in embedded video direct from Youtube.
